Steve Anderson is a founder and a managing director of IGP, following 10 years of leading his own San Francisco based consulting firm Six Sigma Group that served both offshore and domestic technology companies. His focus at IGP is on corporate strategy, operations efficiency and corporate communications.
During his 20 years as a senior executive, prior to establishing Six Sigma Group, he was responsible for strategic planning and implementation of organizational and identity changes in East Coast companies that included consumer electronics, industrial and automotive electrical products, medical devices, and natural resources.
Highlights of that period included leading the public relations defense strategy of an international, unfriendly takeover; developing and implementing a global identification change; leading the marketing of a new family of medical technology devices and a corporate reorganization of a natural resources company that resulted in a new national contract with the international union representing 70% of the employees.
Six Sigma Group's primary focus was on corporate strategy as it relates to primary stakeholders. Six Sigma's experience with Silicon Valley Bank, Yahoo!, US WebCKS, PCTel and other leading Silicon Valley companies gave his firm experiences in a broad range of technologies.
